Release Details

Released as New Grass on Impulse AS-9175, (UK) MIPL/SIPL519, (Japan) IMJ80015, (CD versions)  MVCJ-19051, MVCI-23041.

A 45 rpm single was also released in France, with “New Generation” as the A-side and “Heart Love” as the B, on EMI/$tateside C006-90158.
A white label promotional copy of a 45 rpm single, with “New Ghosts” on the A-side and “Free At Last” on the B (Impulse 273wlp), turned up on ebay in August 2005.

(A further title, ‘Thank God For Women’, was recorded at the 5th September session, but was never released. However, the Revenant Holy Ghost box set does include some tracks from a rehearsal session for New Grass recorded in late August 1968, one of which is ‘Thank God For Women’.)
